Noyen Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇåion announced it has started construction on the Spruce Grove Metro Ball Park in Spruce Grove, Alta. near Edmonton. The development is by Edmonton Prospects Baseball Club and Prism Engineering Inc. and will feature 2,200 grandstand seats, 200 premium seats for founders clubs and season seat holders, sky suites, a microbrewery, outdoor amphitheatre, condominiums, fieldhouses and an auditorium.

BDC reports on labour shortage
A new report from the Business Development Bank of Canada found that 55 per cent of Canadian business operators are struggling to hire the workers they need, leaving them working longer hours and delaying or refusing new orders, according to the study. The bank reports that 64 per cent of entrepreneurs say the labour shortage limits their growth; 49 per cent have had to increase wages; and benefits; and 44 per cent have delayed or are unable to deliver orders to clients.
