ATCO secures $28.7 million for Australian hydrogen project
Calgary-based ATCO’s proposed Clean Energy Innovation Park in Western Australia is receiving a $28.7 million (AUS) investment from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA). ATCO and its joint-venture partner, , are one of three projects to receive ARENA funding as part of its Renewable Hydrogen Deployment Funding Round and enables the company to move forward with planning to establish Australia’s first commercial-scale green hydrogen supply chain.
Partnership to develop communications infrastructure in Latin America
Canadian entrepreneur Marc Wade and former American Tower senior executive Jay Rocio today announced the creation of a new entity, BTI International Limited Partnership, that will develop telecommunications infrastructure in Latin America. BTI will own and operate multi-tenant telecommunication real estate assets in the region. Canaccord Genuity LLC has been hired by BTI as financial adviser and agent in connection with a private placement offering of units of BTI.
FPInnovations, Robotic Research to develop off-road AV tech
Robotic Research and FPInnovations today announced a partnership that will develop an off-road truck platooning system for the forestry and natural resources industries. Robotic Research is a Maryland-based firm specializing in automated driving systems and FPInnovations is a private Canadian non-profit research and development centre. The multi-year project aims to accelerate the adoption of off-road AV technology to improve safety and address labour shortages in off-road work settings.
