Nexii achieves ‘unicorn’ status
Nexii has announced it is the fastest Canadian company to reach “unicorn” status, which indicates a valuation of $1 billion or more. To date, Nexii’s total equity raised is over $109M USD ($125M CAD) with post-money valuation on its last raise of $1.23B USD ($1.55B CAD) in under 31 months, a company release stated.

Vancouver Parks Board begins CRAB Park ground remediation
The general manager fo the Vancouver Board of Parks has issued an order that the southwest section of CRAB Park at Portside in east Vancouver will be temporarily closed to the public for grounds remediation. The new order is in addition to a GM order issued on July 8, 2021, that temporary shelters and structures are prohibited anywhere in CRAB Park to ensure the park remains available to all park users, which remains in effect until further notice.
