Royal Saskatchewan Museum begins gallery construction
The Royal Saskatchewan Museum (RSM) has begun construction on a new gallery set to open in spring 2022 called “HOME: Life in the Anthropocene.” The RSM will remain open throughout the construction process with limited space on the second floor for visitors until completion. The new gallery replaces the previous “Human Factor” exhibit.
Clark Builders begins work on Calgary continuing care facility
Clark Builders has begun work on the Bridgeland Continuing Care Facility, which will cater to 200 clients in Calgary, Alta. The project was designed by FWBA Architects and preliminary site activity has begun with completion expected by late 2023.
MCAA, NECA and TAUC sign agreement
the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA), the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), and The Association of Union 鶹ýors (TAUC) entered into a tri-party strategic alliance agreement to collaborate on issues impacting the construction and maintenance industry on a national and regional level. The three organizations will conduct joint meetings and share information of mutual interest relating to environmental health and safety, industrial relations, government affairs, and innovation and technology.
