Statistics Canada reported today thatÌý²Ô²¹³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô²¹±ôÌýconstruction activity rose twoÌýper cent in February, building on increases in the previous two months, as all subsectors were up.ÌýThe numbers were part of aÌý²Ô±ð·ÉÌýgross domestic product report by industry.  jumped 4.7 per cent as all types of construction recorded growth, led by home alterations and improvements and by single-family home construction. Repair (plus 0.5 per cent), engineering and other construction activities (plus 0.2 per cent), and non-residential building construction (plus 0.3 per cent) were all up in February.Ìý
