Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇåion employmentÌýdeclined 3.9 per cent from June to July according to theÌýStatistics CanadaÌýLabourÌýForce SurveyÌýreleased today.ÌýIn a studyÌýofÌýemployment by class of worker and industry, seasonally adjusted, construction employmentÌýtotalled 1,412,300 in July, down from 1,416,200 in June 2021. Comparing July 2021 to July 2020, employmentÌýin the sectorÌýwas up 3.5 per cent.ÌýOverall employment rose by 94,000 (0.5 per cent) in July, adding to the 231,000 (1.2 per cent) increase in June. The unemployment rate fell 0.3 percentage points to 7.5Ìýper cent.Ìý
