Toronto Indigenous Hub to be launched today

AnishnawbeĚýHealth Toronto will break ground on Ontario’s first Indigenous Hub in Toronto’s West Don Lands today, which is National Indigenous Peoples Day. The 2.4-acre Indigenous Hub will occupy one city block at Front and CherryĚýstreets and will include the new home ofĚýAnishnawbeĚýHealth Toronto, theĚýMiziweĚýBiikĚýTraining Institute and aĚýchild careĚýand familyĚýcentreĚýoperated by the City of Toronto. There will also be condo and rental housing built on site. Ěý

Skills Ontario, RBC target under-represented youthsĚý

Skills Ontario and the RBC Foundation have announced funding for a three-year initiative to provide experiential learning programs to under-represented communities. The program, part of part of RBC’s Future Launch program, will promote skilled trade and technology-focused activities among young people aged up to 29 who are Black, IndigenousĚýorĚýpeople ofĚýcolour.Ěý
