DENVER, COLO. — Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) have announced the opening of a new office location in Denver, Colo.
The new location is based at the Atrium building at 1700 Broadway and will offer building enclosure and structural engineering consulting services for the U.S. Mountain region, an SGH release said.
SGH principal Scott Silvester will lead the structural engineering consulting practice and associate principal Alex Kosis will head up building enclosure work. Both previously worked at SGH’s Washington D.C. office.
“I’m happy to wrap up 2023 with this big news and to kick off 2024 working with Alex and Scott in our newest office. These two professionals bring the best qualities of SGH to Denver: collaboration, multidisciplinary expertise, and an unwavering commitment to our clients. And they’re just fun to work with,” SGH chief technical officer Niklas Vigener said in a statement.
The Atrium was designed by I.M. Pei as Denver’s first highrise building and the original construction was completed in 1956, the same year that SGH was founded.
